After a five year hiatus since his last EP “Human Hangover,” Colorado’s whomp veteran Fonzie triumphantly returns with four massive original tunes showcasing a half decade of evolution and relentless improvement. In that five years, Fonzie has started music school, polished his craft, and worked tirelessly to get Truck Records off the ground. The time and effort were well spent.

“Slice” includes a variety of styles. From heavy glitch hop and midtempo with a bit of a desert bass flavor, to chugging, trippy dubstep… though one thing is certain, Fonzie has found his artistic voice and it shines across this entire release.
